# Vipps PSP API

**Maintenance mode**

This API is in maintenance mode: we continue to support and maintain it, and no end of life date is planned.
New PSP functionality is added to the [ePayment API](https://developer.vippsmobilepay.com/docs/APIs/psp-epayment-api/README.md), so we recommend it for
new integrations.

This API is only available in the Norwegian market.

The Vipps PSP API is used only by Payment Service Providers (PSPs) for Vipps payments.
Settlements for PSP integrations are handled by the PSP.

Use the PSP API to initiate PSP payments, get details about PSP payments, or update their status.
In addition, you can use the PSP Merchant API to get information about merchant sales units or create new sales units.
